When the Bus Comes Late, a story about Daily Routines
When the Bus Comes Late

Has your bus ever been very late?

You stand at the bus stop and wait.

The street is cold and quiet.

A cartoon person at a bus stop turning their head left, then right, seeing only an empty road stretching in both directions under a pale sky.

You look left and right, but no bus comes.

Two minutes pass, then five, then ten.

You check your watch again and again.

A woman next to you drinks hot coffee.

A cartoon boy at a bus stop wearing big headphones, eyes closed, smiling gently, holding a phone in his hand with musical notes floating around him.

A boy listens to music on his phone.

You talk to a man about the weather.

He says the bus is always late on Mondays.

Then you see two lights in the dark.

A bright red cartoon bus pulling up to the bus stop at night, its headlights shining through the dark, passengers at the stop cheering and raising their hands with big smiles.

The bus arrives at last!

Everyone smiles and steps inside fast.

Late buses teach you to be patient.
